FRIDAY APRIL 16 Arrival in Toronto (Transportation to Toronto and return from Vancouver is by your own means) Check into the Royal York Hotel, across from Toronto's Union Station There is a wine

SATURDAY APRIL 17 Breakfast at the hotel - a free day to explore city on your own by trolley, or visit museums etc. Walk to Union station from hotel at 8:30 PM: for check-in at VIA's First-Class lounge for a
10 PM departure on the famous Canadian. Our private cabins are the top class of service, Sleeper Touring Class. You may wish a night-cap in the famous Park Car lounge.! Overnight Canadian Train (B)
SUNDAY APRIL 18 Continue your rail journey across Provinces. Overnight Canadian -All meals

TUESDAY APRIL 20 Wake to the glory of the Rockies. Arrive in Jasper early afternoon, transfer to hotel. Overnight in Jasper (BL)
WEDNESDAY ARPIL 21 Enjoy breakfast, then travel in our exclusive motorcoach to Lake Louise on one of the most scenic highways in the world-The Icefields Parkway, with a stop at Athabasca Falls before
arriving at the Columbia Icefield. Here you will ride on an Ice Explorer in the middle of the Athabasca Glacier to learn more about its geological features. Time will be available for lunch (on your own). Afterwards. We'll have a brief stop at Bow Lake before arriving in Lake Louise this \fternoon. Overnight Chateau Lake Louise (B
THURSDAY APRIL 22 After a sumptuous breakfast - Enjoy a free day in Lake Louise to canoe, hike in the mountains or simply relax, taking in the grand views or enjoying tea. Overnight Chateau Lake Louise (B)
FRIDAY APRIL 23 - Breakfast at the Chateau followed by a one hour guided stroll along the lakeshore-Lunch (on your own) then a half day tour into YOHO National Park to view some of its natural wonders. Among the attractions are the Spiral Tunnels, Emerald Lake and a natural rock bridge that spans the Kicking Horse River. At the end of the tour, we will be transferred to Banff. Overnight in Banff hotel (B)
SATURDAY APRIL 24 Breakfast at the hotel then a sightseeing tour of Banff. Among the highlights are visits to Bow Falls, a Banff Gondola Ride (admission included), Lake Minnewanka, Surprise Corner and the Hoodoos... The rest of the day is free to spend in Banff. Overnight in Banff hotel (B)
SUNDAY APRIL 25 Transfer early to the train station to board THE ROCKY MOUNTAINEER, one of the World's Top 25 trains, and get settled into our assigned seats in the double-decker dome car. As we're heading through the spectacular scenery, we'll head down the spiral staircase and enjoy hot gourmet breakfast served in the dining car. The
group will have the top level of service on board, Gold Leaf. This service includes reserved seating in the Dome Car and extra amenities (the royal treatment) including exclusive use of the outdoor observation deck and fabulous multi-course meals in the dining car, on the lower level. The journey to Kamloops, in the heart of British Columbia, takes you through spectacular scenery. You travel between glacier and snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies, over mountain passes
and through remarkable tunnels, along rocky lakeshores and across the ranchlands of the interior. A fabulous lunch is served in the dining car. Today's highlights include the Continental Divide, the Spiral Tunnels, the Kicking Horse Canyon, Rogers Pass and Craigellacie where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven. The Rocky
Mountaineer Train travels only in daylight hours so as not to miss the spectacular views. Dinner included tonight is a sumptuous buffet and a dinner show. Overnight in Kamloops hotel. (B, L, D)
MONDAY APRIL 26 Transfer ftom hotel to re-board THE ROCKY MOUNTAINEER TRAIN. Hot breakfast in the restaurant car. Continue ourjoumey towards the Pacific Ocean and the coastal city of Vancouver. You will see dramatic changes in the scenery from the desert-like environment of the interior, through winding river canyons and pristine
forests, to the Coast and Cascade Mountains and the lush green fields of the Fraser River Valley. Highlights include the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River and the rushing waters of Hell's Gate in the Fraser Canyon. Our festive farewell luncheon will be on board today where we'll toast to 50 years of FIC! Your rail journey ends on arrival in Vancouver this evening. Motorcoach transfer to Vancouver Hotel. TUESDAY APRIL 27 Your journey ends after breakfast and departure from Vancouver. (You can make your flight arrangements from several airlines. Just make them early. Consider the trains from Vancouver to Seattle (4 hours) then fly home from Seattle - the fare will be less.
Tour Price: $4119 per person dbl occupancy — this includes $125 Canadian tax.
