Foundation for International Cooperation
(Last edited January 16, 2013)
The Foundation for International Cooperation (FIC) is a nonprofit, nonpolitical, nonsectarian organization that has been devoted to cultural exchanges, educational travel, and friendship among all the people of the world since 1960.
FIC brings ordinary people together in homes around the globe through travel and hosting experiencies as well as organized cultural activities. FIC members absorb the richness of other cultures and gain insight into issues affecting people worldwide, while having fun and making lifelong friends at the same time. Members focus on similarities among people while respecting their diversity.
Foundation chapters are located throughout the United States, and our national office is in Park Ridge, Illinois. The national office organizes two adult study tours each year — one international and one domestic — as well as works with local chapters to offer hospitality to visitors from other countries.
